The Club Officials Administrator works closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to help ensure that the membership of officials are working towards higher levels of officiating.  In order for swim meets to run smoothly, we need officials to cover a large variety of roles.  Members can move along the officiating pathway by completing officiating clinics and obtaining on deck experience at a swim meet.  As the difficulty of the officiating position increases, members receive more volunteer points to reflect the time and energy required.  Please see the volunteer policy for specifics on volunteer points per position.  

This page will help members register or activate themselves as as official, provide information on the officiating pathway, and provide guidance on signing up for online or in-person clinics.

New to OFFICIAtING AT SWIM MEETS

For our swim meets to run smoothly we require a large number of newly trained or returning officials in the following positions: 

1. Timers: to become trained as a Timer, please complete: 
   • ​​Introduction to Swim Officiating
   • Safety Marshal
     
     
2. ​Stroke & Turn Officials: due to the number required, we are always in need of these positions. To become trained please complete: 
   • Inspector of Turns Clinic
   • Judge of Stroke Clinic
