The Kamloops Aquatics Club Masters program is intended to adults ages 19 and older who are looking to stay/build fitness, develop their swimming skills and meet new people through an organized, professionally coached training group.
The Masters – Punch Card option provides swimmers with a 10 practice pass for $100.00. Swimmers can choose which practices they wish to attend during the swim season (must be used during the swim season in which it was purchased). Swimmers can purchase additional punch cards throughout the season as they need.
All practices listed on the training schedule located on the KAC website are eligible to be attended. The first 15 minutes of each practice is a self-directed stretching period followed by an hour in water practice.
To be eligible to participate in the KAC Master’s program, swimmers must be able to swim 100 meters continuous and unassisted while having an understanding of multiple competitive strokes. We will work on building and developing skills, but this is not intended to be used as adult swim lessons.
Please note that Tuesday and Friday morning practices are best suited for experienced Masters swimmers, former competitive swimmers and triathletes.
